International AIDS Society - USA releases an article on Occupational and Nonoccupational PEP in HIV

This article summarizes a presentation on PEP for HIV infection made by Raphael J. Landovitz, MD, at the IAS-USA continuing medical education course held in Los Angeles in February 2009. Information on current recommendations regarding duration of PEP and window of time when it should be started, as well as the increasing use of newer and more potent drug regimens are included.
