This is a two-part series on maintaining personnel health as part of an effective infection control program and 2 CEUs are available for dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants.  The first part of the two-part series addresses the elements of a personnel health program, CDC guidelines for work restrictions, and the necessary written policies, procedures, and guidelines needed to implement a personnel health program.  Part two addresses standard precautions and monitoring of disease outbreaks.
