Navigating the Road Blocks: Using a Mobile Dental Van to Increase Access to Oral Health Care: this presentation at the Ryan White All Grantees Meeting in August 2008 outlines the successes, challenges, and effectiveness of using mobile vans to provide dental care to hard-to-reach HIV populations. Staff from 3 Special Projects of National Significance (SPNS) who use mobile vans in their outreach efforts shared their experiences and lessons learned. Presenting organizations included Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, University of Miami School of Medicine, and Sandhills Medical Foundation in North Carolina.
