Dental Case Manager, a role whose time has come was presented at the Ryan White All Grantee meeting in August 2008. ECHO Team presenters included staff from the BU School of Public Health, Health & Disability Working Group; HIV Alliance in Eugene, OR; and Native American Health Center in San Francisco, CA. The presentation outlines the responsibilities and benefits of the dental case manager role and provides examples of how the dental case manager has contributed to improving oral health care for hard-to-reach HIV patients.
